As our Accounting Admin Clerk, you play a vital role in keeping our financial operations smooth, accurate, and ready to fuel the next batch of sweet success.
You’re the reliable, detail-oriented team member who ensures vendors get paid, customers get credited, and our internal teams have the financial clarity they need to keep production moving. Your work supports everything from supplier relationships to month‑end reporting—making you an essential ingredient in our growing operation.
In this role, you’ll:
Support accounting & reporting
- Assist the Controller or Accounting Manager with journal entries and other month-end close activities
- Ensure accounts are posted accurately to support timely, reliable financial reporting
- Provide general accounting and administrative support wherever needed
Process accounts payable
- Accurately enter and process vendor invoices
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Verify approvals and documentation before payment
- Identify discrepancies and place invoices on hold when needed
- Communicate professionally with suppliers regarding questions or corrections
Manage accounts receivable & deposits
- Enter and post customer payments, including checks and wire transfers
- Record and reconcile daily deposits in the accounting system
Process expenses & credit cards
- Review sales team expense reports for accuracy and proper documentation
- Verify and process company credit card statements in line with company policy
Keep the office & records running smoothly
- Maintain organized and accurate financial, vendor, and customer records
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, sales, and warehouse teams
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and orders are placed as needed
This is what we expect from you:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or relevant experience.
- Experience in A/P, A/R, or general accounting—manufacturing or food production is a plus.
- Confidence working with accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
- A team‑oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistency, reliability, and comfort working with deadlines.
