Fancy a job as Credit Controller?

As a Credit Controller, you play a key role within our finance department. You ensure timely customer payments, manage credit limits and support the organisation’s cash flow. You report to the Finance & Compliance Manager and work closely with colleagues from sales, administration and logistics across the Poppies Group.

What does your day look like?

• You closely monitor outstanding invoices and payments and take action where needed.
• You manage credit limits and assess customer credit risks.
• Based on debtor and cash flow data, you prepare clear reports for finance and management.
• You are in contact with customers regarding payment agreements and work together to find solutions in case of payment issues.
• You actively contribute ideas to improve processes and align these with internal stakeholders.
• You provide support during month-end and year-end closings when additional assistance is required.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or have equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role is a strong asset.
• You are comfortable working with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• You work analytically and accurately and are able to maintain an overview, even when cases become more complex.
• You communicate professionally (in Dutch, French and English) and can set priorities independently, even under time pressure.
