Are you passionate about the food industry and do you want to play a key role in safeguarding the quality of our products? As a Group Quality Supplier Relations Officer, you are responsible for monitoring the quality of the raw materials we use. Based in Zonnebeke, you contribute at group level to reliable supplier specifications that comply with legislation, customer requirements and internal standards.
What does your day look like?
- You manage and update supplier specifications for raw materials, traded goods, packaging and services, and safeguard data quality in internal systems.
- You ensure that specifications comply with legislation, customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- You actively participate in audits by clearly presenting and explaining supplier specifications.
- You monitor regulatory changes and alerts that may impact raw materials and packaging.
- You follow up on supplier complaints and carry out supplier evaluations.
- You perform supplier audits.
- You respond accurately to quality-related questions from internal departments and external suppliers.
- You work closely with Purchasing, Quality, R&D, Production and Supply Chain.
- You conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with internal processes, regulations and standards.
- You proactively contribute to process improvements and share your knowledge with colleagues.
This is what we expect from you:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences or a similar field.
- You have strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
- You are digitally skilled and quickly learn to work with new systems (such as SAP and specification tools).
- You communicate clearly and professionally in Dutch, French and English.
- You are proactive, able to work independently and solution-oriented.
