You will support our site in Komen in its further growth in the area of People & Organisation. You will help professionalise and roll out the HR policy of the Poppies Bakeries Group in the production site where we make delicious cigarettes, coconut pastries and americain cookies.

• Employer branding: You put us on the map as an attractive employer and help attract and retain the right people.
• Recruitment & selection: You ensure a smooth and high-quality recruitment process, from job posting to interviews and cooperation with external partners.
• Onboarding & integration: Together with the plant manager and supervisors, you create a warm and professional welcome policy (introduction and training plan, godfathering/metership, etc.), so that new employees immediately feel at home with the Poppies family.
• Training & development: You detect training needs, organise training courses and monitor the follow-up of learning paths.
• Well-being and employee engagement: You support supervisors in their role as coaches and work on initiatives to improve motivation, performance and well-being.
• HR projects: You think and proactively collaborate on HR initiatives such as attendance policies, grant files and performance management.
• You report directly to the HR Manager.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Labour Psychology, or a similar field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• You have a solid foundation in social legislation and can communicate this clearly to employees.
• You are strong in communication in Dutch, French, and English.
• With your positive, coaching mindset, you know how to motivate and connect people.
• You are organized, proactive, and enjoy taking on challenges.
• You are flexible and regularly visit employees in the night and weekend shifts to provide optimal support.
