This is what your day will look like:
- Begin your day by walking the production line, scanning for abnormalities that could affect efficiency, safety, or quality. You’re the first line of defense—always alert and ready to step in if something isn’t running the way it should.
- Support production changeovers by being on the floor during planned product changes, ensuring transitions go smoothly and downtime is minimized.
- Stay ahead with preventive maintenance by managing schedules, documenting work, and addressing corrective maintenance needs promptly to keep machines reliable and avoid costly breakdowns.
- Take pride in facility upkeep. From OSHA and BRC compliance to general housekeeping standards, you ensure the building is safe, efficient, and organized. Supply and mechanical rooms stay neat and stocked under your care.
- Keep repairs well-documented. You maintain logs of both permanent and temporary fixes, and you review supervisors’ daily reports to ensure no technical issue is left unresolved.
- Prioritize safety at all times. You monitor fire protection, cooling, and wastewater systems, and support safety training programs that protect everyone on-site.
- Embrace variety in your role—troubleshooting, supporting production, or tackling new projects assigned by your manager. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps the job exciting.
This is what we expect from you:
- Experience with maintenance systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
- A team player mindset with resilience under pressure.
- Comfort with basic software (Microsoft Office).
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
- Hands-on technical skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Reliability—you show up ready to work and support your team.
- A proactive approach to spotting and solving problems.
- Flexibility to adjust to production needs, including weekends or overtime.
- A strong commitment to safety and following company policies.
- Collaboration and respect when working with coworkers across departments.
This is what you get in return:
- Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime.
- A safe, team-oriented environment where your skills are valued.
- Ongoing training and development to grow your technical expertise.
- The satisfaction of knowing you play a key role in keeping production running smoothly.
- Opportunities to take on new challenges and make a direct impact every day.
- Together with your colleagues, you will step into our Sweet Adventure growth trajectory, allowing both you and our organisation to grow.
- You will join a warm organisation with great colleagues, where you can enjoy the sweet smell of biscuits every day.
- A wonderful adventure!

Tasty testimonials

I’ve been working as a production line worker for 18 years, first at d’Haubry and then at Poppies Bakeries after the takeover. Laughter and chatting in the workplace are not frowned on, which I very much appreciate. Being able to make people happy with a biscuit makes me happy too. Back in the day, there were only 4 of us working at d’Haubry. Since then, our production environment has evolved and been automated a great deal since then, giving me the opportunity to evolve over the years too!
