Fancy a job as Packaging Officer Own Brands?

As a Packaging Officer for Own Brands, you will be responsible for developing all Poppies Bakeries’ own brand packaging based on the existing brand book and in line with the overall marketing strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and creating materials needed to promote the own brand (flyers, catalogs, etc.). You combine creative design skills with technical expertise in graphic design/DTP to ensure that materials such as packaging, brochures, and magazines are visually appealing and technically correct for production.

• You will be responsible for the creation and optimization of packaging for our own branded products (labels, foils, displays, etc.) and ensure that they are correct both graphically, visually, textually, and legally. This applies to both the retail and foodservice markets.
• You will maintain the correct look & feel according to our brand book, harmonize language clusters and designs, request translations (via AI or the client), and brief printers or designers. You will also ensure smooth internal communication regarding project progress.
• You will ensure that the design seamlessly transitions into the final product, in line with typographic guidelines and the graphic charter (text and image integration, corrections, etc.).
• You will coordinate each packaging project from A to Z and ensure timely launches in collaboration with sales & marketing. You will manage this process via a digital Artwork Management System.
• In addition to packaging, you will create and develop visual marketing materials to support our own branded products, such as photography, flyers, and brochures. You will work closely with our copywriter, photographer, and internal/external marketers.
• You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with various internal departments.

 

• You have a strong interest in developing creative concepts that perfectly align with a brand identity and ensure consistency in the visual identity and corporate style across all executions.
• You ensure flawless layout and precise file preparation according to the correct specifications (cut lines, bleed, colour profiles, etc.).
• You have excellent project management skills and ensure a streamlined creative process.
• You are highly proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• You have knowledge of prepress processes and, preferably, print production.
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a hands-on mentality.
• You work with great attention to detail and quality awareness.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You possess strong communication skills and a positive mindset.
