This is what your day will look like:
Are you strong in payroll administration and do you enjoy supporting colleagues clearly and professionally with their HR-related questions? For our production sites in Comines and Wervik, we are looking for a Payroll Officer who ensures accurate salary processing and reliable personnel administration.
You work in a production environment where accuracy and collaboration are key. In this role, you form a duo with the HR Officers at the plants. Together, you ensure that all personnel files are processed correctly, completely and on time.
Concretely:
- You manage the monthly payroll processing for our blue-collar workers in collaboration with the social secretariat. Your files are complete, accurate and audit-ready.
- You work closely with the HR Officers at the plants: they provide input from the shop floor, you ensure administrative and legal compliance.
- You closely and consistently follow up on the time registration system (Protime) to guarantee a smooth and accurate payroll closing.
- You answer questions from workers and managers regarding payroll, time registration and social legislation, in Dutch and French.
- You handle the declaration and follow-up of occupational accidents, time credit applications, Flemish educational leave and other social files. You are an approachable contact person for employees.
- You proactively contribute to various HR projects (attendance policy, subsidy files, optimizations, …) and prepare the monthly KPI reports.
- You report to the HR Manager and work mainly from our headquarters in Zonnebeke (with on-site presence once per week).
This is what we expect from you:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent through experience) combined with relevant payroll experience, preferably in a production environment.
- You have a service-minded attitude and enjoy supporting colleagues, both in Dutch and French.
- You have a solid knowledge of social legislation and keep yourself up to date.
- You are trustworthy, discreet and comfortable handling confidential information.
- You work easily with MS Office. Experience with eBlox and Protime is a plus.
- Administration does not scare you — on the contrary, you enjoy structuring, automating and optimising processes.
