This is what your day will look like:
As a Prevention Advisor Level II, you are the central point of contact for workplace safety and well-being at our production sites in Dour and Comines.
You translate legislation and safety principles into concrete actions on the shop floor, provide expert advice on prevention and safety, and actively contribute to shaping our prevention policy.
What does your day look like?
- You follow up, adjust and evaluate the Global Prevention Plan (GPP) and the Annual Action Plan (AAP).
- By conducting risk analyses, workplace inspections and safety tours, you identify risks and implement targeted improvements where needed.
- You develop, update and monitor safety procedures, work instructions and HSE documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards.
- In case of incidents or occupational accidents, you analyse root causes, define corrective actions and closely monitor implementation.
- Together with colleagues, managers and the external prevention service, you actively strengthen the safety culture through training sessions, awareness initiatives and constructive dialogue on the shop floor.
This is what we expect from you:
- You hold a certified Prevention Advisor Level II diploma.
- You are a hands-on professional who takes ownership, both in projects and on the shop floor.
- You feel comfortable working closely with operators and managers: you are visibly present, address people constructively and are not afraid to highlight risks. You think in solutions and approach discussions from a collaborative mindset, with attention to feasibility and support.
- You work fluently with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ensure accurate administrative follow-up.
- You are fluent in French and English and have a basic knowledge of Dutch.
This is what you get in return:
- A role with autonomy, responsibility and visible impact in a stable and growing production environment.
- Internal training to fully understand our processes and production sites. You will also be part of our Sweet Adventure growth journey, supporting both your development and that of our organisation.
- An attractive salary package including a range of fringe benefits.
- At Poppies Bakeries, we value work-life balance through flexible working hours and additional ADV days.
