This is what your day will look like:

You manage projects related to the development of new products or variations of existing ones. You gather the requirements the product needs to meet and monitor its success throughout its lifecycle. Together with our cross-functional teams (purchasing, sales, R&D, marketing, etc.), you ensure that our products are successfully launched in the market.

  • You lead the progress of development projects, keeping in mind the set timelines and available budget. You work closely with product developers and packaging specialists and frequently communicate with key stakeholders such as the sales and marketing departments.
  • You closely follow the launch of a new product. You support the sales managers during introductions and discussions about your products and later evaluate the success of the new product.
  • You maintain close and regular contact with operations, where the technical and planning feasibility of product developments is a key topic. Additionally, you have thorough knowledge of the various production equipment and operational processes. You contribute ideas for the development of new products or product adjustments to boost sales and potentially tap into new markets or regions.
  • You regularly conduct market research to identify trends, potential competitors, what sets us apart, and what new products we could add to our range.
  • You report to the R&D Manager.

This is what we expect from you:

  • You have an academic background (Economics/Marketing/Business Administration, etc.) and have already gained some initial work experience in product and/or project management, preferably in the food sector.
  • As an enthusiastic project manager, you excel at organizing, leading, and coordinating projects. You know how to motivate and inspire others to collaborate on your projects.
  • You have a strong knowledge of and affinity with the (European) food market.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, maintain oversight, and have the ability to think ahead.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German is a strong plus.
  • You have an advanced knowledge of MS Office.

This is what you get in return:

  • A fascinating and challenging position (no two days are the same) in a company with open communication and room for entrepreneurship.
  • Every day, you contribute to The Sweet Adventure, enabling people worldwide to enjoy our delicious products.
  • We highly value a healthy work-life balance and offer the possibility to work from home as well as 6 additional vacation days (ADV).
  • A competitive salary with extra benefits such as meal vouchers, group insurance, and health insurance.

Tasty testimonials

I have recently started helping the quality team to guarantee that our products meet a consistent standard. My job is very varied, and I am in touch with the product and production process most days. What I’ve noticed is that I can approach everyone and contacting the management directly is not a problem. We have a good atmosphere in our team, and everyone helps each other whenever necessary. There’s also a great atmosphere at work and the people are understanding and motivated, which to me is essential!
