This is what your day will look like:
As a Quality Manager, you are the driving force behind our quality system, ensuring the continuous compliance with BRC and IFS standards. You make sure that our quality processes are not only in order but also continuously improved. With your expertise, you elevate our quality standards to a higher level and work closely with different departments. You play a central role in safeguarding food safety and report directly to the Plant Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Conducting product inspections and following up on non-conformities.
- Daily monitoring and follow-up of quality and production documents.
- Performing supplier and internal audits.
- Raising awareness and enforcing hygiene regulations on the work floor.
- Registering and following up on improvement actions.
- Managing customer and supplier complaints.
- Conducting traceability tests and risk analyses.
- Inspecting incoming raw materials and new packaging.
- Preparing final product specifications and defining strategies around Aw & moisture content.
This is what we expect from you:
- Master’s degree in a food-related field or equivalent through experience.
- Experience in the food sector in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
- Ability to work independently, set the right priorities, and take responsibility.
- A true team player with a hands-on mentality.
