This is what your day will look like:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you serve as the right hand of the Plant Manager and act as the liaison between the logistics department and the warehouse. You receive information and instructions from the logistics department and ensure a thoughtful and efficient distribution of tasks within your team. The flow of goods is your responsibility, and that's how you also position yourself. You oversee the cleanliness of the infrastructure, lend a hand where necessary, and stay on duty until the work is complete. You always keep a cool head and think in terms of solutions, allowing you to consistently maximize continuity and productivity.
- You check incoming shipments for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
- You verify if all documents are in order and if all food safety guidelines have been followed.
- You ensure that the goods are stocked in the prescribed manner at the correct location.
- You oversee an efficient workload distribution within your team of warehouse workers.
- You coach and motivate your team to deliver the best possible results.
- You supervise order and cleanliness in the warehouse.
This is what we expect from you:
- You have several years of experience in a warehouse environment and have already taken your first steps in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage.
- You possess all the necessary certificates (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
- You are skilled at prioritizing tasks and can adjust them smoothly according to the needs and priorities of the organization.
- You are fluent in your communication, actively listen to others, and can delegate tasks to the right individuals.
- You speak and write fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
